It’s coming again, folks. But not in the way we expected.

I had always doubted that we would ever get to see great anime movies such as Evangelion 1.0: You are (not) alone on local Singaporean TV. In fact, if someone came up to me one year ago and told me that Evangelion 1.0 would eventually be aired in Singapore, on a free-to-view national channel, I would probably stare at him and denounce him as an over-optimist with no grasp of cold hard reality.

Well, the over-optimist won in the end.
