The fifth installment of the Call of Duty franchise, World at War goes back to the Second World War  to revisit old battlefields with a step up in graphics and performance, weapon options, while retaining old gameplay mechanics, and reproduces an authentic combat experience on two separate fronts during World War 2, namely the Pacific Theater and the Eastern Front.
