And so 2008 has passed and we advance into year 2009. It’s been an enjoyable year for us, in fact, one of the best yet. Alot of things have changed over that year as I look back, reminising the past.

First of all, let me begin by wishing everyone out there a Happy New Year!

Having to abandon my old site was quite painful (though I do go back and write a little bit of stuff once in awhile with occasional hijacks from other writers) in fact, but with the birth of NKDS, it has moved onto another level. Meeting more friends and having an enjoyable time with others rather than just alone. Of course somethings just don’t change. Like the pile of otaku goods piling up mountains after mountains in my room. I guess I’ll be intending to do a clearance soon to get rid of some stuff that I don’t really need and want.

Of course, upcoming next would be the 2nd anniversary of SGAB. With the absence of the rest of the old-timers, I guess I’m the only one left standing that is keeping the group together. Of course, just like last year, I hope we can do a get together session and do a bit of catching up and such.

What else? Let’s not forget AFA08, which was probably the best event held in Singapore for that year. To be able to meet Aniki and May’n was a dream come true.

What did we members of NKDS did on New Years Eve you all may wonder. Let’s just say, we watched Mizuki Nana’s Live Fighter, Red Cliff, Higurashi Live Action Movie and Touhou anime throughout the night while some of us played Magic: The Gathering while we were at it.

Lastly, what else to look out for this year? Let’s just say, we hope to bring to you all more interesting articles and updates alongside with some random stuff from time to time. On behalf of everyone, once again, I wish you all Happy New Year and may all of your New Year resolutions be successful. Have a blessed and exhilarating New Year void of trouble and hardship.
