Holy bazaar sales, Batman!

dodgethis | February 6, 2009

From now until Tuesday, Kareshi Kanojyo no Mise, better known as KKnM to most of us, will be holding a stock-clearing bazaar sale in their store.

Hi all!

KKnM and Anime House will be moving out from our current unit in
Sunshine Plaza into Unit #01-34 (same building) by end of Feb 2009.

From this Sat, February 5th:

- Anime House will be having a crazy sale on their DVDs, more than 50%
off many titles!!! They will also be giving away DVDs for every
purchase!

- KKnM is also throwing out our old stock of merchandise like coasters,
CD cases, Diary covers, note pads, note books, mini pillows,
accessories, keychains at crazy prices (i.e 2 pieces for $5, 2 pieces
for $10, 5 pieces for $5). For every $30 spent on sale items, we will
be giving away a small token of appreciation (trading figurine) as well!

Thank you! Hope to see you all this weekend!
Best regards,
Sharon Lee
Kareshi Kanojyo no Mise

And a small correction to the COSPA post. Sharon has informed us that Hashimoto-san, the gentleman we met on Tuesday afternoon, is in fact their Chief Executive Officer. We apologise for this error.

Nana Mizuki’s Shin Ai on Music Japan.

Julius_Firefocht | February 6, 2009

Looks like this is a day for seiyuu-related news. Behold, Nana’s recent performance of Shin Ai on Music Japan.  Nana in that white dress looks absolutely enchanting. Oh, and she sings a single line of enka at the 2:16 mark. A single line, but it was enough to bowl me over.

Nana’s performance of Shin Ai was accompanied by Agematsu Mika’s heavenly harp performance and the Cherry Boys band. What should have been an epic live was hampered by the fact that the song itself was TV-sized. What a waste… though what was performed was already extremely impressive in itself.

This is Julius Firefocht, signing off.

EDIT: Ah well, the video was taken down, due to copyright issues. Can’t be helped, I guess.

EDIT again: Video back up. Our thanks to Fumomo for providing a link!

Noto Mamiko and Nogizaka Haruka – A Special Day

Xak | February 6, 2009

Today is truly a special day. Not only is it my favourite seiyuu’s birthday, the second season of my favourite character’s anime (voiced by Noto Mamiko of course)  has also been given the green light! So firstly, お誕生日おめでとう能登麻美子さん! I look forward to hearing more of her voice, in the various animes that I am watching and in the animes I will be watching, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu’s second season included, naturally. Now excuse me while I pound the wall to dust with my head from sheer joy, all while wishing I had the guts to take out the Haruka Dakimakura and do (un)speakable things to it.
