So, everyday, we get closer to the remake of the precursor to all mecha shows. The official site just opened up and there are some very interesting tidbits in the series and character descritptions.

The Mikene Empire is mentioned explicitly and Doctor Hell is part of them. Quite a departure from the original. And of course, that could only mean one thing. GREAT WILL BE APPEARING IS IN THIS SERIES! HELL YEAH. Also note the appearance of the Mazinger Army and Aphrodite A as well. This will not be the first series. More will follow. The title is ‘Shin Mazinger Shutsugeki! Story of Z’. I am so hard in my pants now.
