Opening theme for Shin Mazinger
dodgethis | March 5, 2009The official site just got an update.
The title is 感じてKnight (Kanjite Knight) or The Knight with/or Feelings, whatever that means. Anyway, it seems Ichirou Mizuki would not be doing it. Instead, it’s seems to be an unit made up of two units and two solo artist. The first unit is LAZY, an old group formed by Mitsuko Horie and Hironobu Kageyama. The second is JAM Project, whom I really do not need to introduce. The two solo artistes are Kazuyoshi Saito and Okuda Tamio. I admit that I have no idea who these two are but judging from their sites, they seem to remind me of Yoshiki Fukuyama, with all the guitars on them. Whatever it is, I am looking forward to this song.
Release date is on the 22nd of April, released by Lantis.

Saito and Tamio are both fucking rock legends in Japan,
j1m0ne | March 5, 2009Saito and Tamio are both fucking rock legends in Japan, Tamio even has a Gibson Les Paul series named after him. I have zero interest in Mazinger but this song should in theory, rock the roof off.
Thanks for the tip, any recommendations on what songs are

LAZY was the band that Kageyama debuted from way back,
Fallen | March 6, 2009LAZY was the band that Kageyama debuted from way back, and consist of Hironobu Kageyama, Shunji Inoue (President of Lantis, you see him in some of the JAM behind the scenes videos), Akira Takasaki (later formed Loudness along with Munteka), Munetaka Higuchi, and Hiroyuki Tanaka. No Micchi there. Both Munetaka and Tanaka have since passed on, so thats probably why they roped in the two other rockers to round out the group
Oh and the Opening itself is going to be a remix of one of LAZY’s old singles Kanjite Night, hence OP title Kanjite Knight.
