Heard this from Ray and YL. No kidding. Apparently, it’s due one of the lyricists or songwriters being brought up on drug-related charges. King Records is going to remove the song or songs that are associated with this person. Oh well. The new release date is the 3rd of June.

Remember, kids. You don’t need drugs to be a winner.

I have a confession to make. I have no blood left for nosebleeding while watching Nana-chan’s latest weapon of mass distraction. But that was only because all the blood rushed to elsewhere, so I guess it all balanced out.

Nana sure was not kidding when she said this PV was going to be sexy. I mean, Nana in a kimono? That is enough to ignite the wildest fantasies of just about any Nana fan out there, male or female. I’m not even sure I can sleep well tonight. Nana’s going to be dancing in my mind, dressed in that kimono of hers…. I think I should stop here.

Anyway, our thanks to Danie for bringing this to our attention. I swear she works part-time for King Records or something. The speed at which she obtains information is simply phenomenal, at least by our standards. Danie, you rock. 

One last piece of information before I end this post. Apparently our Japanese counterparts were observing the Nana flower-arrangement event too, since a Japanese blog made a post about it. Well, looks like we have managed to raise Singapore’s profile on the world map of Nana’s global fanbase. It’s a very good start, if I may say so myself.

This year, Makkun, can I have a K-Show and Minami duet? Prefably Rumbling Hearts. He was hilarious during the behind the scene special, especially his wanting in on the bunch of girls yakking in front of him. Ani-Para host Tomoe Ohmi makes a return to Animelo after a two year absence.

The Mizuki Nana fan meetup held on the 25th of April was a great success, with more attendees than expected. It was a solid two and a half hours of fun, socializing, and discussion about Nana and how awesome she is. We had no idea Nana had so many devoted fans in Singapore until we held this event, and we are pleased to have everyone together as a single group, all united in our love and admiration for Nana and her songs. Getting everyone to know each other was already a good thing to do, but meeting up to send a gift to Nana-chan only makes the event even more meaningful than usual.

I was wondering if I should bring down a poster of Nana-chan for the above group picture, but since I picked up the Fate tapestry at KKnM right before the event, I figured it would suffice since Nana pretty much is Fate.

Yes, it sounds incredible but it is true. Chihara Minori, famed seiyuu of Nagato Yuki from Suzumiya Haruhi and Minami Chiaki from Minami-ke, is going to grace Malaysia’s Daicon 2009 event.

I am quite in awe of this achievement by the Daicon planning team, and with that said, some of us are definitely going to try to haul our collective asses to Kuala Lumpur on the 11th and 12th of July. Apparently J1m0ne and Danie will be there too, so the event might very well turn out to be an informal gathering of bloggers as well.

Just got some news from a good friend that Yamato is releasing a YF-21 repaint, in the form of Gamlin’s VF-22. Now this may not seem like much, but I think Yamato has gotten the license to do their own line for Macross 7. That means Max and Miriya’s own VF-22s and of course, Barasa’s VF-19 Fire Valkyrie. This is also further reinforced by news from Macrossworld that Yamato is going to do a lot of non-VF-1 repaints in the coming year. *keeps fingers crossed*

Key is celebrating it’s tenth anniversary this year. As the resident Keytard, i had tried my best not to look at the Key offical website due to the exclusive items they have produced for the Japanese fans.
