I’ve been a fan of this series ever since it started. There is just something about a busty cosplaying catgirl demonhunter that appealed to my base instincts. Throw in a whole lot of sassy attitude, an interesting sidecast, risque jokes, sexy situations and most importantly, natural attempts to have an actual storyline, and we have a product that managed to capture my attention for 29 chapters spread out over roughly two years.

Therefore, I am pleased to share with our readers the news that Omamori Himari is getting animated, most probably by Studio Hibari . The manga is still ongoing, so I do not expect a very good anime ending by the production team. They better get a suitable seiyuu for Himari though. I think Ayako Kawasumi (Saber) would do a good job, but then so would Ami Koshimizu (Horo).
