Hey its been a while, today we’re bringing you an update for the upcoming Imperial guard releases for Warhammer 40k.

NOW MOVING ON TO A WELL DESERVED 40K FANBOY RANT! THE NEW IMPERIAL GUARD RELEASES ARE NEARING! For those of you new to Warhammer 40,000, the Imperial Guard are the grunts of the far future’s Imperium of Man, much similiar to your everyday joe, forced to face off against bigger, meaner baddies, with nothing more than *ahem* lasguns, and flak armour.

With the new release comes new model kits and what a number of kits. The May 2nd release includes the Catachan and Cadian command squads, Cadian and Catachan troop box sets, Ratling sniper squads, a new Primaris Psyker unit (one we expect to be able to take down tanks and light armour), a new plastic Valkyrie transport (i’ve been waiting for this day). And of course, the new Codex. May 16th will see the arrival of the new Cadian and Catachan battleforces that will include one command squad, two infantry squads, three heavy weapon teams and one sentinel respectively.

And here’s a little something i’ve been working on for the IG release, yes, my Imperial Guard army, so far, i’ve done up my Elites and HQ choices, which include a Command squad with a Chimera and Stormtroopers. AP3 HELLGUNS BABY!
