Haruhi Season 2: It begins. Again.
Julius_Firefocht | May 22, 2009Show of hands please, anyone watching the supposed reruns of Haruhi this season?
…
I guessed as much.
Here is a good reason for you to start picking it up. Or at least parts of it.
That’s right. Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody has been animated, which means the appearance of a moe-moe Nagato Yuki is not that far off. As you might have heard by now, KyoAni/Kadokawa is hiding the new episodes in plain sight, by mixing them with the reruns of the first season.
This should be one of the few times KyoAni has animated two ongoing projects (Haruhi and K-On) in a single season at once, and broadcasting both the new and old Haruhi seasons together might not be just a pure marketing ploy. This broadcast method would let KyoAni catch its breath and balance between the two projects, hopefully without compromising on quality. And of course, they could always pass off the stunt as “viral marketing” if questioned.
So there we have it. An actual Haruhi Season 2. Maybe Duke Nukem Forever has hope now.
