To-love Ru to get cancelled.
Julius_Firefocht | August 26, 2009
After over 160 chapters spread out over roughly 3 years, To-Love Ru is finally coming to an end next month. Here I was thinking I would always be getting my weekly dose of crazy fanservice for the next few years or so.
I will be honest; I liked To-Love Ru. The manga accompanied me through some of the darkest days during my time with the army, and provided me with laughs when I needed it, despite the fact that most of the jokes were pure nonsense. It was good mindless entertainment that I did not need to think too hard about, mixed in with some of the more extreme examples of fanservice that I’ve seen. I’ve always been concerned with the military police searching my bags whenever I brought To-Love Ru back to my camp to read, which is a memory in itself.
Of course, there was always Yami-chan, the taiyaki-loving, shapeshifting Fate-lookalike that was moe enough in her own right. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve wondered how Yami-chan plays with her hair at night. I’ve also bought a figure of her because she is awesome enough to deserve some of my budget, not to mention she is easily my favourite character in the entire series. Yami-chan will be missed.
I’m getting the same feeling I got back when Toradora ended. That is perhaps unavoidable… after all I did follow this series for more than three years. A bit of attachment to the characters would be inevitable.
This is Julius Firefocht, signing off.

I actually read it without the “hair”. ORZ
I totally agree with you (I just read the ending
Mikado | August 28, 2009I totally agree with you (I just read the ending this morning); I also will miss Yami-Chan AKA Golden Darkness AKA EVE (Black Cat manga); the worst thing is, the ending is so forced, you can tell the author wasn’t really ready to quit the series!
Well actually they weren't ready to end the series just
Holy | September 7, 2009Well actually they weren’t ready to end the series just yet. The reason the series ended is because the author or the artist, I don’t remember which one, recently divorced his wife and Haruna was based off of his wife. He didn’t want to keep going on with the manga because it reminded him of her.
Also I heard that his wife tried to take the rights of To-Love-Ru because Haruna looks like her which of course she didn’t get, but that’s still really messed up.
Well there is the probability that if we leave him
FanTLR | December 7, 2009Well there is the probability that if we leave him time for reflection, the author again reconsider and continue the series, because in my opinion, no one wanted to To Love Ru end like that, just have to give it time, because this series if you have a figure fans who follow her.
Do you people actually think it will be back at
