The cast for the anime adaptation of Kaicho wa Maid-sama is out, and its pretty awesome! Here’s the list:

Hiro Shimono as Vice President Yukimura

Hiroyuki Yoshino as Naoya Shirakawa

Rie Tanaka as Satsuki, owner of Maid Cafe Late

Sanae Kobayashi as Misaki Ayuzawa

Tetsuya Kakihara as Ikuto Sarashina

Tomokazu Sugita as Takumi Usui

Yuki Kaida as Aoi, the internet idol

Yuuichi Nakamura as Ryuunosuke Kurosaki

Plenty of big names all around, headed by Tanaka Rie, Sanae Kobayashi, Tomokazu Sugita and Nakamura Yuuichi. Usui is a character that is practically made for Sugita’s brand of voice-acting, and I am expecting great things from his performance. Tanaka Rie simply graduated from being a maid in Hayate no Gotoku to being the maid cafe owner in this show.

Just go and read the manga if you are interested. In fact, even if you are not a shoujo manga fan, this title is still highly recommended for its humor. I only hope the jokes can become survive the transition from manga to anime.
