Yukarin, Michiko Nomura and Nana. Yes, THAT Nana.

Yes, that’s right. This is going to be the 1st time in NK-DS’s history that two different writers posted about the same show, in rapid succession. That should give you an idea on how good/bad Kämpfer was.

As far as I am concerned those three animals up there are the real stars of the show. Oh, and Hocchan. Hocchan really delivered this time round, literally stealing the thunder from Marina Inoue. And with Yukarin as Kuro Usagi… I dunno man. Kämpfer is like a seiyuu fan’s wet dream come true.

Ok, this joke was not in the manga, but damn. I thought this was bad, then came the next series of jokes made of pure win…

and apparently, “He has a voice like Yukari Tamura-san’s”.

And so they  kindly provided a guide for those who don’t know who she is.

That’s not all. The festivities continue with the heartfelt and loving reunion of Yamato Nadeshiko.

So touching…such beautiful and physical love…. *sheds a tear*

To sum up, Kämpfer’s first episode had Marina Inoue voicing a guy who turns into a girl, a Gundam joke done in bad taste, a generous serving of Yukarin/Kuro Usagi, crazy seiyuu jokes involving seiyuus being called by name in the actual show with no sound censoring whatsoever, Hocchan talking dirty and sounding horny to Marina Inoue, AND both Yamato Nadeshiko members abusing the crap out of each other. Plus future episodes will have Nana as Kanden Yamaneko AND Noto as Norainu Chissoku, possibly with the same sort of lame seiyuu jokes to mark their appearance. Who care about the storyline and/or animation, man. If this stuff does not get your seiyuu fandom blood racing, I don’t know what will.

I still think Yukarin got her role as “punishment” for abusing Hocchan back in Higurashi. That, and the Kuro Usagi definitely helped.
