Having arrived at Tokyo this morning, someone else at my hostel told me about a cosplay event in Akibahara today. Since my objective of the day is nearby Akiba, I decided to take a look.

Photo-taking takes a full 360 degrees turn in Japan. I had to queue to take photos.

But the advantage of queueing is that you can ask the cosplayers to do any pose you would like them to do and you can actually kind of take your time.

Due to time constrains(had to rush for another event) and the queueing, I could not possibly take a picture of all the cosplayers. And of course I did not only take one.

Spotted her walking around and finally caught her in a corner.

So I queued up for this event, took some photos of her, took some photos with her and shook her hand.
