Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu novel translation sample

“……Yuuji.”
“Wha- ARGH! What are you trying to do out of the blue??”
“……You must not avoid me.”
“You tried to bang your head into me, of course I will try to avoid you!”
“……I am not trying to bang my head into you.”
“What were you attempting then? Saying hello with your head?”
“……Kiss.”
“I see. Do not make any sudden movements, put both your hands behind your head, and slowly and clearly explain to me what is going on.”
“……It is a normal mouth-to-mouth kiss. To a couple like Yuuji and me, who has already vowed to spend the rest of our lives with each other, this is normal behaviour.
“Wait. It’s not that I don’t know what a mouth-to-mouth kiss is, I am asking why are you sudden–ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!”
“You know what a mouth-to-mouth kiss is? Who did you kiss? When? Where!”
“N- No! When I say I know what a mouth-to-mouth kiss is, I am only saying that I know the meaning of it. It has nothing to do with having any experience–”
“……No practical experience?”
“That’s not really tru– ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGh! I am lying! I am lying merely out of personal pride, I have never had any mouth-to-mouth kisses ever since I was born, I am as innocent and as clean as a piece of white paper!”
“……I see. That is good.”
“Phew. I thought I was going to die… Tell me, why are you requesting for such a thing all of a sudden?”
“……There.”
“Eh? Isn’t that Akihisa and Shimada? I can’t see them clearly… Shimada appears to be running away.”
“……They were sharing a mouth-to-mouth kiss just now.”
“Are you sure? Ah, the guys from our class are surrounding Akihisa now.”
“……What a strong killing intent.”
“Ah, that was a good attack. That hit on the chin must have hurt. There is truly strength in numbers,”
“……He is no longer moving.”
“Can’t be helped, Akihisa is just that stupid. Those guys are a terrifying group famous for not forgiving even individuals who have experienced merely a kiss.”
“……I am sorry.”
“Eh? What? Why are you suddenly apologising to me? I have never experienced a kiss before, so this kind of idiotic incidents will never fall on my head!”
“……Actually, while Yuuji was sleeping, I–”
“I can’t hear it! I absolutely, positively cannot hear any sound of any kind!”
“……Do not worry, I will take responsibility.”
“That is not the problem— eh? I sense killing intent— ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!”

“Heretic detected and captured.”
“Good. Bring him away.”
“Yes! President Sugawa!”
“Is the Interrogation Trial ready?”
“It is done.”
“You have done well. Now, let us begin our makeshift Interrogation Trial for the heretics! Make sure you strip the prey of all the personal belongings on their body, and investigate each item thoroughly!”
“YES! PRESIDENT SUGAWA!”

“……What have I done. Yuuji turned his body away right at that moment, and I ended up kissing his cheeks instead…..It is too late for any clarification…..”

More on the way, if I can find the time to do translations. As it is, Book 4 is probably the best book that has been released so far, which is why I am working on it first. The amount of emotion and drama in the novel would not have been out of place in a Taiwanese or Korean drama, which is impressive for what is supposedly a love comedy.
