Suffice to say, you are going to go broke if you are a K-On, Little Busters, Angel Beats, Nanoha or Touhou fan. I am still trying to figure out if I should get the Feito dakimakura that is so awesome that I can’t even post its picture here.

The entire event is actually called “Mikuni Shimokawa ASIAN LOVERS Tour 2010: Replay! in Singapore (with Band Version)“, but as you can see the full name of the event is a bit too long to put in the title of this post.
Anyways, we can buy tickets now. Link to the ticketing website here. Each ticket costs SGD $93 excluding booking fee, which is about right for a 2 hour concert here in Singapore.
Dodgethis and me have already bought our tickets, so see you there if you are attending the concert.

News comes in the mail in different forms. Today it came in the form of a loli. We welcome Nell, the latest character to grace pangya’s list of characters. She looks set to take over Kooh’s position as the moe character. She will be voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki, who I am sure many out there will recognise. For more information, go here or follow Nell on twitter. By the way, her cat’s name is Pepper ^.^

Kinda late, but better late than never. A very happy birthday to Lucia. 2 weeks ago, on 8th July, Pangya celebrates the birthday of the idol Lucia. If not for the IP ban on pangya jp, I would have celebrated her bithday with all the others in pangya.

Just heard some news that AKB48 is coming to town. Apparently they will be heading to Milan in October and Singapore and Macau in November. It seems to coincide with a certain event we all know and love. We can always hope. ^.^
More details here.
My bed companions. I will get sweet dreams every night with them.
It is the 7th of July over at our part of the world, and I would like to wish all Nana fans a happy and fulfilling Nana Day! I hope all of you have received, or are going to receive your copies of Impact Exciter. The album is going to rock!
I would also like to take the chance to point your collective attention towards this post from Toteshinse.
Basically, Inakiken from Toteshinse will be organizing this year’s Nana Mizuki Live Game Flower Stand Project. The concept behind the entire project is the same as the one that we organized some time back. All Nana fans are urged to drop by Toteshinse and take a look, and to contribute if you are able. Your support will be much appreciated by all Nana fans, and most importantly, by Nana herself. More details are available on Toteshinse, should you require more information before deciding.

Photo with Alodia and Ashley. Proof that I was at Mascot Parade.
I know I had a terrible expression on my face when the above photo was taken. But I could not control myself; after all its not everyday that I get to take a photograph with two famous cosplayers.
So, Mascot Parade 2010 was a great success, despite the lousy weather early on in the event. The heavy rain in the morning was worrying, but the crowd began streaming in as the weather gradually cleared up around noon. The retail area was located under shelter, which turned out to be a good thing. Trading card games such as Weib Schwarz and Victory Spark sold well and were well received, as were anime merchandise from booths set up by companies such as KKnM and Kurocha. Apparently the Gundam model kits from Hobby Art Gallery sold well too… Gunpla fans should look out for the Real Grade RX-78-2 Gundam which will be released soon. That kit is a thing of mechanical beauty.
ALL HAIL THE DAIMAOU!!!!!
The doujin artist booths did not disappoint either, with CDS producing numerous fine renditions of Kanade from Angel Beats, and some can badges from the same series. The Bushiroad tournament area was active for nearly the whole day, with two WS tournaments and one VS tournament held throughout the day. Tables were also available for all members of the public to stop by and learn the games, which I thought was a nice touch. The MMK maid cafe was an oasis for weary shoppers, and you can’t go wrong with moe maids and nice ice cream.
In conclusion, it was a fun event filled with numerous items of interest. I am not sure how Cosfest went… but from what I heard, not much has changed. Ah well.
