I really want to just go for the whole set and be done with it, but nah, resources are tight this month. Since that’s the case, I will likely go for the Fate Testarossa T-shirt or mug. And at the same time I will pretend I never read the weird engrish sentences on both the Nanoha and Fate T-shirts.

This album is ownage. Pure, unadulterated ownage.

If you like Nana, you should… nay, you NEED to go out and buy a copy of this. This album is beautiful, refreshing and epic in its musical arrangement, featuring Nana as you have never heard her before. This album made me shiver in bliss at the epic musical arrangement, and made my spirits soar as Nana’s voice took flight. 

Above all, this album proves why Nana is the Eternal Diva. 

Get it.

For our Singaporean readers out there who are fans of Nana, you will be pleased to know that Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva will be coming to Singapore’s cinemas, thanks to Encore Films. Links here. And yes, Nana-chan is credited in that link. So yeah, we should all go watch it.

Found this while checking out the movie site for updates. Limited release is limited. But the list of cinemas showing the movie has yet to be finalised and more may be added. Same date as the UBW movie to boot.

Good news for fans of Tosaka Rin. The rumor of a Fate/Stay Night movie has finally been confirmed to be the animation of the Unlimited Blade Works arc. The movie will debut on the 23rd of January next year, and apparently the seiyuu cast from the anime series will be carried over wholesale into the movie.

That means we will get more of Kana Ueda as Rin, which is a very good thing since I consider Rin as one of Kana Ueda’s best work ever. She almost always stole the show from Shiro and Saber whenever she appeared, and the Rin fan in me rejoices in her getting a whole movie to call her own.

The UBW movie aside, this trend of producing anime movies seems to be on the rise. Off the top of my head I can think of Nanoha, Gurren Lagaan, Evangelion, Macross Frontier and Kara no Kyoukai, with KnK having the distinction of never having a prior anime series adaptation before hitting the theaters. What’s next…. a K-On movie perhaps? I know I would dearly love to see a Shin Mazinger movie!

Why indeed. We just watched this not long ago and honestly, I do not understand all the hate directed at the show. I believed Transformers 2 was the best movie I have watched in ages, and I am ready to stand by that statement. I do not even want to list out the reasons why I loved the show, suffice to say I believed I got my money’s worth and more, and I walked out of the movie theater satisfied and happy. The movie has done its job of entertaining while fulfilling the need for military toys and giant transforming robot action, and that is more than any Transformers fan can ask for.

At any rate, I definitely enjoyed this a lot more than Terminator Salvation.

If you have not watched it or are avoiding it due to the bad press the movie is getting, might I suggest that you put aside the negativity and so-called “reviews”, go ahead and give the movie a chance. You might not like it even after you have watched it, but at the very least your opinion is now formed by personal experience, and not by 3rd party reports. That has to be worth something, right? Or perhaps, who knows? You might be transformed into a fan too!

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is the first look at the long awaited Optimus Prime and Jetfire combiner from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

Let’s be frank. When I first heard of the rumour, I knew in an instant it would be awsome. As a child of the eighties, I remember watching Transformers Victory and basking in the gloriousness that is Victory Saber. Fast forward almost twenty years later, Micheal Bay gives us this. This work of art. Look at those bare ramjets hanging over the shoulders. Look at those beefed up legs. Look at those glowing barrels on the gatling gun he’s using. Look at those eyes of Prime, as he looks down at the carcass of Starscream.

As someone on 4chan said, “Michael Bay made sweet and gentle love to my childhood. Thank you, good sir.”

I guess most of us have been waiting for the second Eva movie for about a year now, if only the awesomeness that is Asuka Soryu Langley. I found this scan of Unit 02 on /m/ today. Quite an interesting re-design I have to say.
