Having arrived at Tokyo this morning, someone else at my hostel told me about a cosplay event in Akibahara today. Since my objective of the day is nearby Akiba, I decided to take a look.

Please don’t say you are lazy…
As we promised earlier, here is the image post that we were talking about. There is a little twist to this though. We are not uploading the pictures onto the blog. Instead, we will upload our collection onto Mediafire for your downloading convenience. Sure beats saving the pictures one by one, unless you are using a download manager.

From the collection, you can easily distinguish the pictures taken using a crappy handphone camera, since I did not bring a proper digital camera along for the trip. Some of the pictures I took with the handphone still turned out good though. I suppose it is a matter of working within the handphone cam’s limitations.

After taking pictures after pictures, I realised that it’s boring to take picture with people simply just smiling. And so at times I’ll encourage people to strike a pose along with it. Of course in Singapore, sometimes, when you try TOO hard, people tend to say stuff like why are you acting cute and such.

Not too sure where the character is from, but good cosplay nonetheless.
When we say quality, we mean quality and not QUALITY, as evidenced by the above photograph.
The picture was taken from a site that featured excellent cosplay from Japan, though “excellent” may be subjective as always. It is worth a look, most of the cosplay in there are really good, and may even serve as inspiration for the cosplayers among our readers.
