Help bj0rN attain his hopes and dreams

bj0rN | August 14, 2010

Yes. I somehow got myself into this contest whereby I was ambushed by several people in school and got “interview” on how I would spend $8000 if I had it. Of course I could have been lame and said something like, I could just pay for my one semester of school fees and call it a day, but ended up saying out my inner desire of getting things like a PS3, a new PC (so that I can do my work and my present laptop is like 5 years old), and a trip to Japan (simply because it’s gonna be my “virgin” trip there) and etc.

So help me out to try and win this by voting for me and spreading the word around. Yes, I know the video clip is lame and all, but I was caught on by surprised, so I wasn’t prepared.  I’ll be so grateful to those who helped me vote and I shall keep my fingers crossed in hopes of winning and fulfilling my wishes.

You’ll need a Facebook account and you can view the video and vote for me here.

Impact Exciter Hits No. 2 on Oricon

dodgethis | July 13, 2010

Will someone bid on this poster for me? (Picture is linked to YAJ page)

So there we have it, mai moe moe waifu did not hit the number one spot for the weekly album sales, like Ultimate Diamond did, but got number two instead. Probably got edged out by Hey! Say! Jump!. Oh well.

On the bright side, Impact Exciter outsold Ultimate Diamond by 18,000 copies, for a total of about 93,000. Cloud with a silver lining? More like platinum.

To those new fans of hers, thank you for helping to bring her up to levels we, or even Nana herself, ever thought possible.

The beginning of the 22nd year of my life and my newly found freedom.

bj0rN | June 11, 2010

And so I’ve hit 22 this year recently and maybe it’s just me, but time seems to pass a lot faster the moment you hit your adulthood. Big thanks to all my friends who sent me their wishes and also to those who spent time with me. Managed to spend time with that special someone too. Most importantly to all the close friends that I have who have been putting up with me all these years.

It’s been quite awhile since I actually sat down and write down my thoughts and how I feel. Last I recalled was probably the good old days when SGAB was still active and when I was still writing at the old AB site. Looking back, I really missed those days when we’re all so carefree and had lots of fun. Our group was very bonded then too and we used to have gatherings now and then. Some memorial events are like the massive LAN party we had at E2MAX, the SGAB anniversary gatherings and even further back to when I first met guys like TJ, Tsubaki and DM at the local Streetfest at Cineleisure. The countless nights of bullshit and crap that we’ll talk about on mIRC. I guess now we’re all at the point where we’re all mostly busy with our own lives and perhaps could never go back to how it was before. Man, we sure did a lot of stuff together back then and it’s just so nostalgic thinking back. And you know what? I’m actually intending to go back to try and go back to those days again, and to start off, is by reopening my old blog, which I’ll probably get a new domain and all and start it anew.

To be honest, the birth of SGAB and its members gave me more excitement in life and thanks to that, I’ve met many great people, of which I’m still in contact even today and I consider them as my very close circle of friends. You guys know who you are and seriously… I don’t know what I’ll do without them actually.

Nowadays, I’m think I’m not as “otaku” as I used to be. I realized that I don’t really spend much on merchandises these days. Yes, some people can call me for being a failure for being an otaku, some can say that I have not enough love, but I guess that’s the way it is already and it might or might not change. I hardly buy figurines anymore unless it’s really terrific and I’m actually selling most of my stuff off. I’ve also cut down on my magazine and manga subscriptions though I still buy some light novels from time to time to read. To me, my love for them is still there, just that my wallet is not really agreeing to it since I have other priorities now. Oh yeah, and I managed to make a lot more friends through WS, especially the gang that frequents TCG. They are really an awesome and unique group of people.

Moving along, today is also the day I finally get my long awaited freedom back again. I’m still having mixed feelings about it since part of me is happy that I’m finally free to do whatever I want to do again and another half of me is actually, afraid of what lies in store for me ahead. Of course, days spent during NS were also great and I wanna thank my good pals in MEC, who have been taking care and working alongside with me. During my last week, I actually somehow managed to chat up with a few fellow soldiers and found out that they used to read my old website a lot. I feel quite honored and happy that there are actually people reading and following the crap that I wrote then. Too bad we won’t really be seeing each other much now, but I do hope that they’ll visit the new site when the time comes.

Alright, shout out to Paul for being an awesome senior and who is still in close contact with me. Elnathan, for being a very understanding guy and always listens to my troubles and woes. I guess it’s partially my fault for getting him so interested in Japanese and especially Mizuki Nana too. Let’s not forget my fellow bunk-mates and the other fellow MEC crew, especially Platoon 4, whom I spent time with for a couple of months together just before I went for my course and got separated from them.

So what lies ahead of me next? As for now, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that I can continue my studies and meanwhile working to have some income of my own to spend. Actually, I’m getting quite pissed off with people bugging me about what’s up next and expects me to give them a definite answer, as if everything in life has been placed nicely in front of me. I’m also going to continue my Japanese language studies. I’m grateful to Vivian for encouraging me and being my source of motivation. She’s been an influential person in my life and the future to come.

Oh yes, the promise I made 2 years ago about going to Japan? I’m still going to fulfill it and it’s something that I look forward to after all these years.

Once again thanks for the nice memories and best wishes to everyone.

1 day spent well. 1 week more to freedom. 1 year older for me. 1 lifetime to go through.

bj0rN | June 6, 2010

Ages since I’ve written since I’ve been busy and all. Here’s to let you all know that I’m still around. Title probably has summarized everything already. I’ll be trying to find more time to update the site more now since I’m gonna attain my freedom real soon.

That aside, I’m actually selling off my anime merchandises and other misc. Do check em out here and support me.

Koe de Oshigoto to get Anime

dodgethis | May 25, 2010

Gist of it: 16 year old girl agrees to help older sister with her software company. Software company turns out to be eroge developer. Girl agrees to do voices for sister’s eroge. No law against a 16 year old talking dirty. Hilarity ensues.

Chupa scene and orgasm while talking dirty. Yeesssss. Please let Aoi Yuuki voice the lead girl. She has a penchant for dirty talk and leaves people in despair while doing so.

Way to the KSL 2010

Mycstea | May 17, 2010

Hi all, it’s the resident Key-tard again. Other then the long-missing/dragged post on Key 10th Memorial Box set which i swore to purchase (i’ve actually got it), i’m going to do a series of posts on KSL Live World 2010 ~Way to the kud-wafter~ live concert which i will be attending!

However, to kick things off, i’ve decided to collect a bunch of well-wishes from us Singaporean fans. Below is the sketch of the image i’ve sketched out (i know it’s not Kud, but hell with that). It’s actually almost fully coloured, and will be printed with selected well-wishes on the front and back of the A3 size (tentative) card.

To those interested, do post your well wishes under the comments or email me personally to mycstea(at)gmail.com .  However, do note that i will be printing the card on 18th May 2010 before i fly off so please submit before i do so!

I will do my best to bring forward the card to the staff of Key when i attend the event!

Buy HEAVENS DIVIDE / 恋の抑止力

dodgethis | April 8, 2010

That is all. Now I need a picture of Kojima to worship in front of. This has to be the most brilliant thing he has ever done, the REX vs RAY fight in MGS4 notwithstanding.
