The organisers have announced some special items that will be available at the event. Items include event-exclusive items and some pre-release stuff that is sure to make anyone drool.

Let’s start off with some Bandai items.

As with most events, Bandai’s plastic model division has made some exclusive items just for AFA. But this time, they have three. Yes, you read right. Three event-only kits for AFA. And C3X usually only has one.

From left to right. That’s a 1/60 Exia Gundam, made up of clear parts tinted to look like it is in Trans Am mode. Next up is a 11/144 HG Exia Gundam with crystal parts in its normal colours. And last but not least, is MG Gundam Ver OYW in G3 colours. An interesting line up. Expect these to be snapped up fast.

For those who are eagerly awaiting the releases, fret not. Bandai will be launching four kits here as well.

For the event, Bandai will also be bundling three Sangokuden SD Gundam kits together. Forgive me for not knowing their Japanese names but the bundle will consist of Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Sun Ce, the leaders of the three factions in the Three Kingdoms saga. Very nice touch, I have to say. And the second Red Cliff movie is coming out soon.

For those are eager to have Kunio Okawara sign something. Be one of the first twenty to purchase a Gundam Ver 2.0 from the Takashimaya booth at AFA and you will get a coupon for an autograph session with Okawara-sensei.

But of course, Bandai doesn’t only make Gundam kits. They have forgotten those who are more inclined to chogokin as well.

Bandai will make available here the Soul of Chogokin Testujin 28 boxings. The basic GX-44 comes with only the Tetsujin 28 while the GX-44s comes with it’s rival, the Black Ox. Both sets will be on sale here before they are released in Japan. How awesome is that?

ORE SANJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU. For the tokusatsu fan, you have not been forgotten.

Bandai will have on sale thirty sets of SIC Kamen Rider Den-O’s Rod and Axe Forms. Pretty normal right? I have yet to mention that they will be autographed by the man who scuplted them, Kenji Ando.

And what’s this? More exclusives?

This time round, it’s Saint Seiya stuff.

This will be an event-exclusive Saint Cloth Myth Aries Sion/ Grand Pope Sion.

Bandai is not having a monopoly of exclusives. Kotobukiya has gotten in on the act as well!

Feast your on the event-exclusive Nineball Seraph from the Armoured Core line. What makes it so exclusive? It’s molded in clear plastic too! Make no mistake. This is the largest AC kit from them to date and with this combo, it will look awfully good on anyone’s display shelf.

To end off, we ourselves are unsure of the prices of the stuff available at the event. The only way to find out is to go down to the event yourself and find out! Six days and counting…
