What we did last year

Another winter, another Nana tour around Japan.

For thise year’s tour, there would be a stop at Nana’s home town of Niihama on the 20th of Febuary. Like last year, we were thinking of sending flowers to that specific event, rather than the last stop or the Yokahama Arena events. Some, we were thinking that performing in her hometown would be something significant and thought that it that sending the flowers there would have the most impact.

Tentatively, we are looking at these arrangements. However, we are only limited to 115029, as it is the only one that can be sent to Ehime. It would cost 15,750 yen, inclusive of shipping and handling. The cost will be split evenly amongst those who contributes. For the message, I think we can go with the same on we had for Live Diamond last year.

Currently, I have about 14 people whom I have gathered interest from, mainly from Facebook. Those who are interested, please send a mail to our e-mail address with the title ‘I love Nana and I want to send her flowers!‘. Please include your name, e-mail address and contact number. The collection place would most likely be a gathering at a central location, though I don’t mind hosting a viewing of Fever and Diamond at my home (near Pasir Ris) at the same time. Alternative payment methods can also be made. Please e-mail me even if you have expressed interest via Facebook.

Closing date would be the interested parties would be on the 31st of January at 11.59.pm. The gathering would tentatively be held on the 6th of February. Also, we would be opening this to Singapore and Malaysian fans only.

They have finally updated the weekly rankings.Yes yes, I know of the articles that came out the day before but I just wanted to wait until the chart was updated.

Mai moe moe waifu finally takes her first weekly number one. And it’s the album chart to boot. Time to break out the proverbial champange. Oh, her delicious tears of happiness at Live Diamond. I wish I could be there…

The light of our lives, Mizuki Nana, is but a few short hours away from turning a year older. We at NK-DS wish Nana a happy birthday, and may she stay forever young and beautiful! Maybe she should pick up some age-defying tips from her good friend Tamura Yukari. Then the two of them can stay young together and live happily ever after.

The reasons why many are bothering with the show.

So I finally watched the subs for White Album. I had watched the raws, but my crappy command of Japanese meant that I actually understood less than 30% of the dialogue, which left me confined to gawking at Ogata Rina’s beauty and Mizuki Nana’s angelic voice. Now that I am done with the subs… Suffice to say I was pleased with the first episode, even before putting Nana and Aya’s voice-work into consideration. Spoilers ahead, so be warned.

Those eyes, they are telling me something…

According to Nana’s blog, her 19th single will be released on the 21st of January 2009. The date must be familiar to Nana’s fans, since its her birthday!

The message is clear! Buy the single to celebrate Nana’s birthday! DO EET, FOR NANA-CHAN!

Ahem…my apologies, I got a bit carried away. Anyway, my bet is that the single will be from the upcoming White Album, the Nana vs Aya extravanganza also set to debut in January 2009. A thin red line shall be drawn in the snow then…a line that divides The Legion of Nana from the deluded faithful followers of Hirano Aya. I might cover White Album, though I must confess it would hardly be a fair coverage since I am a hardcore crazy Nana fanboy I have a slight bias towards Nana’s performance. Seriously, she could voice a newt and I would still hail it as the masterpiece of voice acting that it rightfully is.

Feel the Nana love!

Looks like Nana-chan’s massed fans (henceforth known as The Legion) has done their duty well. They will have to, since the Trickster single is REALLY good. Good enough to have me looping Trinity Cross for the whole night at any rate.

Either that or the uber-delicious DISCOTHEQUE PV that featured Nana in several heart-stoppingly cute poses did the trick of recruiting new members for The Legion.

Or maybe its a combination of both.
