Why must she do this to me?

I was lurking around the Net when I came across these pictures. Yes, the coloured prototype of Volks’ Fate Testarossa Harlaown (my wife) is finally complete, and the figure looks like it might be worth the arm and the leg it will take to buy it. If this is how the prototypes look…

This is a follow-up to our previous article on Volk’s Nanoha figure line. Only prototypes of Nanoha and mysterious fanmade character Hayate are shown in their full colourless glory, with Fate left out of the picture for now. I can only assume they are saving the best for the last.

Found this shot of a magazine on 2chan’s toy board. It seems that Volks will be releasing some resin figures of husband and wife under their A Brand line of figures. Fate will be in her Sonic Form while Nanoha will be decked out in the form whose name just escapes my mind right about now. More information in the upcoming January issue of Hobby Japan.

While I don’t own any of the A Brand line, I do have one of Volks Super Robot Wars resin kits, the Granzon. The details were very sharp and crisp with barely any mold lines except where they could not be avoided. That, in addition, to their Thrudgemir action figure. There’s also the two recasts kits I got from e2046, the 1/4 Excellen Bunnygirl and 1/8 Hatsune Miku. The only problem with them? Getting around to doing them.

Only problem is, you can’t get Volks stuff outside of Japan unless you get someone to help you them from their shops (like I did for the Granzon) or go through a deputy on Yahoo Auctions Japan.
