So I have recently fallen into the addictive trading card game that is Weiβ Schwarz, otherwise known as WS. I can’t help it, it is just about the only game that allows me to use an entire deck full of Fate Testarossa cards, and kick ass with her. It’s a fun game, and I’ve fought the temptation for ages only to be done in by the recent release of  the Nanoha Movie 1st expansion pack. Loli Feito is just too moe to resist.

Anyways, if you are in Singapore and you want to try out or learn the game, feel free to drop by TCG, a shop that specializes in games such as WS, Chaos and Victory Spark. That’s where our group of friends play regularly, and the address is 91 Bencoolen Street Sunshine Plaza #01-77. Or you can drop by WS@NK-DS, which is a WS information site set-up some time back by Mycstea.

I think between my regular anime purchases, WS and the upcoming Warhammer 40K release of the Blood Angels codex in April, I won’t have any money left for anything but the most basic of necessities. T_T

The long awaited Weiβ Schwarz card translations update. This post will host 2 different sets of card translations, namely:

• Little Busters! Original Booster Card Translations
• Fate/stay night Trial Deck Card Translations

Please use Shift_JIS character encoding to view in full form. These card translations are for reference only. Please ask for permission before using the text be it in part, or full, in any web page.

These translations are in Ver1.00. Please email Mycstea@gmail.com if there are any mistranslations/misinterpretations that i have missed out. Do check out the new sets that were announced a while ago, as well as clarifications on the rulings and the initial How to Play post.

P.S. There are are a few phrases and names i cannot make head and tails out of. Please e-mail or comment if you are able to find out what it means (card names are in romaji for such cases).

There are some slight fix the the rules of the games so do check it out. Changes are at Step II, Step VI and Refreshing the Library.

Some clarifications:

• Damage Cancelling: All damage is cancelled in one attack if any Climax card is flipped over.

• Attack Phase : When 2 Charas clash with each other and both have the same attack power, the attack still gets to deal damage. At the end of the Battle Step, both Charas will be placed in Reverse Mode. When a lower Power Chara clash with a higher Power Chara in a Front Attack, receipant of the damage will still receive the damage, then the lower Power Chara goes into Reverse.

After the announcement of Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo, Mai HiME and Mai Otome comes new surprises!

A couple of announcements, both of which are related to TCG events in Singapore. I have no idea how many of our readers play TCGs, but here goes.

First of all, NK-DS members, primarily Mycstea, will be at SOYA from 9am onwards to hold free demo games for Weiβ Schwarz. SOYA will be held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on this upcoming Saturday, so if you are going to the event and like the idea of using Saber to knock out Nanoha, by all means drop by and learn the game. You will not be disappointed.

Secondly, Bjorn, Dodgethis, Xak and me will also be attending the morning half of the Conflux Pre-Release event held at Suntec City on the same day. At least this frees us up to attend SOYA in the afternoon should we choose to… so if you see us in either event and recognize us(not likely), please feel free to come up and say hi. After all, gaming is perhaps one of the best ways to make new friends and contacts, right?
