Treatments For Low Testosterone Levels

In recent years, testosterone supplements have become more widely available, as athletes and bodybuilders have started taking them for increasing muscle mass and energy. Even guys in their forties have been known to take these supplements for this purpose. But do they really work? And are there any side effects?

Testosterone supplements testosteron tillskott, sometimes called androsterone, increase male sexual characteristics. These sexual characteristics can include increased strength, endurance, libido, sperm count, and muscle mass. These hormones, in conjunction with androgenic hormones, are commonly prescribed to treat issues like enlarged breasts, delayed puberty, enlarged testes, facial hair, and other sports-related performance impairments. It is believed that testosterone balances the production and secretion of androgen, a hormone that affects male sexual characteristics.

If a person suffers from hypogonadism, his testosterone levels are low enough that they are unable to maintain normal sex drive or produce sufficient levels of sperm. Low testosterone levels can also cause erectile dysfunction, decrease in muscle mass and strength, depression, anxiety, and high blood pressure. This is the reason why some men turn to testosterone replacement therapy for hypogonadism.

If your testosterone levels are too low, you may experience some of these symptoms: decreased libido, tiredness, moodiness, hair loss, slow recovery from injuries, decreased sex drive, depression, and low muscle mass and strength. Because most of these symptoms can be attributed to the symptoms of other diseases, it may be difficult to determine whether your low testosterone level is really due to hypogonadism or another disease. This is why some doctors recommend testosterone injections to treat hypogonadism.

However, there are some conditions that cannot be treated with testosterone injections. The most common condition treated with testosterone levels is the decline in pituitary gland function known as hypogonadism. This condition usually occurs when there is a serious brain or spinal injury. Hypogonadism caused by injuries results in low testosterone levels because the pituitary gland has been damaged. This causes the testicles to release less testosterone than usual, causing a wide range of secondary symptoms.

One of the primary treatments for hypogonadism is injecting high doses of D-Aspartic Acid into the testicles in order to restore normal levels of testosterone. Unfortunately, if there are several damaged areas in your brain or spinal cord, this method may not work. In these cases, testosterone injections and nerve damage may be ineffective. Some doctors also consider injecting colloidal silver to treat low testosterone levels, but this treatment has had a limited success rate. Other doctors treat hypogonadism with testosterone injections and continuous physical therapy.
